Summary: If true, this is a crime. If false, this is a sad joke.
Comment: If you are just looking for something to lend an air of credibility to believing that Moses parted the Red Sea then this is fine. If you are looking for a well presented and critically examined argument of the evidence then this is not.

Take note as you watch this that the only people who are talking about fields that they are professionals in are the Biblical scholars. Particularly glaringly in absence are a single Egyptologist, archaeologist, historian, or full-fledged marine biologist. The author who came up with the theory is a Medical Researcher who has some "training in Marine Biology". So what exactly does that mean? It could mean no more than that he knows a coral from a rock and knows how to scuba dive.

The DVD fails to make a convincing case for the Hebrews ever having been in Egypt, let alone the Red Sea crossing. One piece of architecture shaped like a horseshoe? If you do the math in Exodus you would estimate that there were at least 1 million Hebrews. Rome in 280 BCE didn't house a third of that. (I'm being very conservative and generous on these number BTW) So where are all the writing, tools, art, religious artifacts, etc. of archetypal Hebrew nature? If they were there I think we would see more than one horseshoe shaped building.

Other questions I had after viewing this (that a well written show would have anticipated and addressed).
- How level is the wadi that the DVD says the Hebrews marched down? Is it level enough to drive 600 chariots all those miles? Even if it is now, was it then?
- How often does water flow through that wadi and how much sand and silt does it deposit into the sea? If you extrapolate backwards what would the sea floor have looked like at the time of the Exodus?
- Why are the chariots not long buried in silt and sand, situated as they are at the outlet of a huge river?
- Do marine biologists agree that a chariot submerged thousands of years ago could actually produce a coral reef so small? After that long, shouldn't they be larger? These are living growing things after all.
- The images they show of the "bridge" don't look flat to me. Yet the guy says it is flat and without obstruction or even coral. So where are the supposed chariots? That statement is very confusing.
- He also says that there is a "thin layer" of sand and silt. How thin could it really be if there is such a large delta formed at the outlet? That has to be pretty thick. I could see walking on it, but wouldn't chariot wheels just sink? Would you put chariot wheels on an ATV? There's a reason they don't.

There are many more but I'm running out of time.

In conclusion, if that is really what happened then these people should be pilloried for making such a bumbling presentation. They have made a case so lame and bungling that it makes the entire theory not worth notice. Which it may indeed be.

Summary: Interesting and informative
Comment: I had heard a bit about the discovery of coral covered chariot wheels under a 'sea' in the middle east about a year or so ago. This video covers that among other topics showing historical and scientific evidence related to the Jewish people in Egypt, the Exodus and in the land of Canaan.

Well done, fairly high budget look (a bit of overuse of a reverse tide split for the parting of the Red Sea effect) and goes thru various Bible accounts and then the evidence.

I would like to be able to verify some aspects. One problem I had with this presentation was the best view of a gold chariot wheel was labeled as a "representation" below the photo. Like it was either inset of edited somehow. Though if legit, very convincing and looked very much like the Egyptian art of chariot wheels for the time. The coral covered items did seem to possibly have once been a turned on its side chariot.

I'd call it a 5 star with only a slight minus on that "representation" rather than a real view photo on the gold wheel. I'm not sure what skeptics would think of this video, but very nice for people of faith.

Summary: Intriguing and Thought Provoking Theory of the Exodus
Comment: This is one of the best documentary films I have ever watched. I have watched it many times and it retains its luster and position as one of the best. I highly recommend it.

It lays out the maker's theory of the route of the Exodus and argues that the traditional routes and locations of Mt. Horeb resulted in wanting extrabiblical evidence because they were NOT the actual route. It is well organized. Enjoy!

Summary: very worthwhile & well researched
Comment: it answers many questions that i had about this event ever taking place. i find this subject extremely interesting and the amount of research gone into this video makes it well worth the money and viewing time.
