Summary: Sting Unplugged
Comment: I like this MTV show from early 1990s. It is well done and Sting plays his double bass, instead of electric bass. Dom Miller is great as always in support of Sting, plus the other musicians. I enjoy this music and watch it often.

Summary: Great show but why only VHS TAPE!!!
Comment: Yet another great piece of Sting's musical history. Excellent to see drummer Vinnie C. do "Wild Wild Sea" in this acoustic setting. This show provides a different view of Sting's abilities. Well worth owning BUT!!... why in 2007 is it only being offered on this crappy VHS Tape?. For goodness sake it is high time this sort of excellent product was updated and restored onto DVD with proper DTS sound. (Along with Sting's excellent "Soul Cages" concert and the lush rich looking "Summoner's Tales" Lakehouse show.)
I wish these record company guys would keep up and realise that they're shooting themselves in the foot by backing Paris Hilton and the like, and ignoring real musical history such as this.

Summary: Brilliant!
Comment: Every true Sting's fan MUST have this one: interesting arrangment, sound and some stories told by Sting to the audience. This tape is pretty much his 1991 album's accustical version but due to a brand new angle, quite entertaining. Disagree with previous comments that the video is boring. If you only know one Sting's song (desert Rose that is) than,well, may be. If you are a true fan, this viseo is just brilliant!

Comment: From a haunting "The Wild Sea", to an improvised "Walking on The Moon", this video is a vibrant example of Sting's vocal, lyrical, and musical talent. The texture of the video is soft and filtered, which complements the acoustic nature of the unplugged venue. This is an absolute must for Sting fans - as close is you will ever get to having a feel for what it must be like to have Sting play in your living room. Thanks Gordon for sharing your talent!!!
