Customer Rating: Summary: This is THE best Sesame Street video to own! Well, at the VERY least - 2nd best! Comment: When my oldest son (now 7) was a baby, he loved Elmo, so we bought ALL the Elmo videos. If I had it to do over again, I would buy only two, maybe three - and THIS would be at the top of my list. This has the most entertaining transitions between songs, and the best songs - NOTHING tops 'I Love My Elbows,' although my kids' favorite is the Lamb-y dance. 'Get Along' is the catchiest tune since 'Rubber Ducky' and my kids howl everytime someone gets on that trampoline. This is WELL worth the price (and 'Let's Make Music' is, too). FYI, my 4-year-old loves it, too, and my 7-year-old, who is too cool for Sesame Street now, still laughs out loud when he 'happens' to see it while his brother is watching.
Customer Rating: Summary: Elmo's immature days Comment: My 23 month old is now settling into this one. I bought it becasue I figured there'd be a lot of ELMO for her and there is... BUT these are the early days of Elmo when he was very one dimensional--a bit unruly, shouting a lot like a spoiled child. Sesame St has really developed the Elmo character into a kinder, gentler, smarter 5 year old monster.
Anyway, vintage lovers of SS will appreciate my fave on the video: The Alligator King with his 7 sons. Great message: "Son you wear the crown; you didn't bring me diamonds or rubies, but you helped me up when I was down."
Nonetheless, despite my grievances my daughter begs to differ and loves this video; it's grown on her and she even calls Snuffy "Eh-phant" when he shows up and tries to sing the songs, gets a word in sync here and there. This is where I think these DVDs are educational. The kids actually want to learn the lyrics. I much prefer "Sesame Sings Karaoke" becasue I love the adult interaction with the monsters and of course the celebs are funny too. Elmo's so much more developed as well. There are no real people on Sing Along Guessing Game by the way.
Customer Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL VIDEO! Comment: My 14 month old loves this one so much that our tape is dying, must be time to buy the DVD. It's very cute and constant songs get her attention.
Customer Rating: Summary: MikasMom Comment: When my son (now 6) was teething, out of desperation, we put this video in and were amazed at the reaction -- totally mesmerized by the voices & songs. My daughter (8 months) has totally followed in her brother's footsteps and LOVES Elmo's Sing-Along Guessing Game. It's not just a cute video to keep her entertained. It has songs about numbers, best friends, getting along, and music that you can "dance" to. I highly recommend this video to anyone with infants on up. My son will still sit and watch it with my daughter & I find myself constantly singing along. What's better than entertainment & education?!
Customer Rating: Summary: My baby's (and my) favorite Comment: This is a great video that kept my 10 month old daughter (and me) amused and happy while she had to stay in the hospital for 3 days last month. It was a godsend. And after watching it myself for what seems like 101 times, I can honestly say that I still enjoy it. The songs are hysterical and I can't decide which is our favorite: "Get Along"-a 50's style doo-wop number led by Kermit or "La Baa-Baa"-a song led by the Count and lots of his sheep friends (that he counts at night to help him fall to sleep). Highly recommended.

Don't miss the musical fun and excitement when Elmo hosts his very own TV game show. Elmo asks the questions, and you can guess the answers in sing-along videos featuring some of your favorite songs. Kermit, Big Bird and more of your Sesame Street pals are on hand for all the high-energy hijinks!
