Summary: A wonderful introduction to french culture
Comment: my two and one half yr. old son likes this volume as well. He can tell you what he likes in french, J'aime les glace( I like ice cream) .He also can comment on our weather, il fait foit, (its cold); il nege( its snowing). He loves saying the enitre french alphabet. While I like the format of vol. one better my son appears to enjoy the increased challenge of vol. deux. This volume also provides an introduction to french culture. I do not agree with the previous raters of vol. one. However, those looking only for the slick animation of a disney video will be disappointed. The animation is more primative. Yet it held my son's imagination. In fact , it helps foster imagination. Also we had no problem understanding the narration. As for repetitiveness, that is how you learn a foreign language. Far from detracting from the video, my son enjoyed the sense of mastery it brought. This video is rated for age 4-9, but I see no reason not to give it to your Tella Tubby weary toddlers. Mommy and/ or Daddy are sure to learn some French. too!
