Summary: Excellent for the Little Ones
Comment: This an excellent, charming, low-key video. Kids LOVE seeing the Richard Scarry characters move. I think it is more about the beauty and simplicity of the designs than anything else...I mean, these certainly aren't particularly memorable characters.
Another plus: it doesn't club kids over the heads with messages.
If only it were out on DVD.

Summary: Sweet, innocent and fun!
Comment: My son loves busytown and this video. There are three good stories on this tape - all nonviolent, demonstrating good values, and telling interesting stories. There is a short saftey video "Stop, Look and Listen!" - about crossing the street (the tune is catchy). The characters are sweet. The families and neighbors are nice, good people. If only all busytowns were really like this!
