Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful movie for a tragic story Comment: I watched this with my wife not really knowing who Salena was. The acting was great for the most part(the actor playing Salena's boyfriend/husband was sub-par) and the story kept me watching more. It is a clean movie that the whole family can watch and enjoy.
Customer Rating: Summary: selena the movie Comment: It's great I love this movie ever since I was little what beter way to have it but in special edition & 2 disc.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Selena Movie Comment: I frist saw The "Selena" Movie on HBO-The Orginal Verison.I thought it was a great film because I had not known who Selena was. Then I had bought the single disc verison of the movie-It did'nt have much on it.And now this 2 disc Special Edition of "Selena.I like the Special Features and the additional Scenes .I had sometimes accidently stumbled on seening the TV verison on TBS.It's unfortunate this verison of "Selena" was'nt digtally remastered. The Director's cut is okay."Selena" is still a excellent movie.
Customer Rating: Summary: One of the greatest films of all time! Comment: Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R31UBPXAUGDNVD
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome DVD! Comment: I loved the extra features on this, including interviews from the family and Chris. Plus, I found it interesting to see the deleted scenes that didn't make the original version.

The nuts and bolts of the irresistibly danceable music called Tejano are pop, rock, polka, R&B and Latin influences. To millions of fans there's another vital ingredient: the dynamic singer Selena. Vibrant and tuneful, Selena is the story of the Grammy Award-winning South Texas singer whose life tragically ended just as she was taking Tejano where it had never gone-into mainstream America. Pulsating with Selena's voice on the soundtrack and made with the participation of her family, the film brims with authenticity. It excitingly recreates the early life of a little girl who dreamed big, hit the road in the band bus named Big Bertha and whose concerts became electrifying events. In the title rose, Jennifer Lopez is herself electrifying. Edward James Olmos, Jon Seda and others also shine in "a poignant, heartwarming movie that deserves a standing ovation" (Jules Peimer, WKDM-Radio/New York).
