Comment: I like this size of material. Making your own size bags is as easy as wrapping the food itself. This size allows me to make just about any size wrap I need. It is much more economical than buying pre-made bags. This product has never failed and is excellent.

Comment: I keep Foodsaver continuous rolls on hand. We buy meat when it is on special and freeze it in the Foodsaver bags we make from the continuous rolls. Keeps meat from freezer burning and we always have meat on hand.

Summary: Tough, but sometimes leak
Comment: The roll stock is convenient, but I often seal powders and the FoodSaver material sometimes gives a seal that leaks. The Seal-a-meal machines aren't as good as FoodSaver and their bags aren't as tough but they seem to give a more reliable seal.

Designed to be used with all Tilia FoodSaver vacuum-packaging machines, the two rolls of material in this package can be cut and sealed at both ends to create custom-size food-storage bags. Each roll is 11 inches wide and 18 feet long. The material is a three-layer construction--two plastic layers and an outer layer of nylon--that keeps moist foods moist, dry foods dry, and all foods from leaking odor. Bags can go directly into a microwave oven or boiling water to reheat food. They are resealable, reusable, and dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack
