Summary: Great Help in the Garden
Comment: I'm recovering from surgery and wondered how much work I'd be able to do in the garden this year. With the Rumford Gardener Kneeler, I've been able to do all of the work I normally do. The kneeler is light enough to carry from place to place and eliminates the need for a kneeling pad. When set up as a bench, it's handy for trimming bushes, etc. It folds easily for compact storage and is strong and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a little extra help in the garden or in the house.

Summary: Better than I had expected.
Comment: I had been having more trouble this year with getting down and up while working in my yard and garden. I tried to be in a postion close to something I could pull myself up. The Rumford Gardener has solved this problem. It is, in fact, much stronger than it looks. I have used it both to sit on and to kneel on while working. And when folded, it's stores easily and out of sight. It's great. Only wish I'd had it sooner. Joan Ross

Summary: Perfect for scrubbing floors and other household use
Comment: I not only love this garden kneeler/seat for outdoor use, I think Rumford could double it sales at least, if they realized its potential for indoor use. I can no longer kneel without pain. It occurred to me that I could use it for scrubbing floors and other odd chores where I need to be on my hands and knees. So I bought a second kneeler/seat for the house. I also add an extra foam kneeling cushion pad from Fiskar, and I don't experience any pain at all. I think it matters that I can lift my weight by using the leverage of the Rumford seat arms (legs?) rather than just pushing up from the floor.
I think Rumford might consider offering an additional cusion pad for comfort. I realize that their seat material is truly durable, but it isn't enought for sensitive knees.

Summary: Multipurpose folding gardeners kneeler/seat
Comment: This is a good rendition of the classic folding gardener's kneeler/seat. I use them for handy work around the house and as a photographer's companion which allows me to sit, kneel, and get up and down with knees no longer young. This one is made of steel. I would like a lighter one, aluminum, for photography but this one works just fine.
