Summary: Great beginner metal detector
Comment: This is a really good inexpensive way to try metal detecting. I've been using it in the "all metal" mode which is an easy way to get started. I have used it a few times and find it to be quite sensitive. So far I've found coins, a few pieces of cheap jewelry, and a lot of trash items (bottle caps, hair pins, foil...) The trash can be filtered out easily by adjusting the knobs and switch on the console. I was just in a hurry to use it and didn't want to miss anything. One thing it doesn't seem to detect very well is very small gold chains without pendants. This might be true of all metal detectors. I don't know because this is the only one I've ever used. It uses two 9v batteries which can be expensive, but I picked up an inexpensive pair of headphones which seem to increase the battery life. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product to anybody that wanted to give metal detecting a try without investing too much.

Comment: Bounty Hunter Tracker IV Metal Detector, this product came to me in perfect conditions, works very well and honestly it was a gift for my wife for Christ-mas and she has hardly used it, but as for the performance of the product, it is well worth the money.
