Comment: I have missed "Evening Shade" since it went off the air. I hope all seasons will be offered for sale in the near future. This was one of the best "cast of characters" ever!!

Comment: The sole star only refers to the worst transfer to DVD I've ever come across. The show looks better in reruns on my dad's old analog tv!

Comment: Half-way through Disc one, I realized that this show was a "Coach" replica. Then, half-way through disc two, I realized that "Evening Shade" is what "Coach" wished to be. While both shows are so similar, espcially with the characters and "theme", "Evening Shade" excells in the human aspect of a sitcom. It's been almost 20 years since I've seen it, and at the time I didn't think much of the show, but then again, I was young. ;) If you love sitcoms that also have a moral story, then I suggest you get this series. I also reccomend "Coach"!
I stumbled upon this set at Walmart. I wasn't even aware it was available on DVD. I read somewhere that the show didn't last enuf seasons to go into syndication, so I assumed that it meant that it would not make it to DVD as well..
If you like good 80s/90s sitcoms, this is a must have.

Comment: I've been waiting for years for Evening Shade to finally come out on DVD and it was well worth the wait!! It is just as funny as I remembered it to be. The cast is so good and has such great chemistry. I can't wait for season two!!
