Summary: Great Product
Comment: Have been buying and using this simple compact trimmer for years. The only problem is that they stop working after about 2-3 years when the warranty is already gone. The repair center replaced one once with a completely different model. They are so inexpensive though that 2-3 year use makes them almost disposable.

Summary: A Perfect Trimmer
Comment: This Panasonic beard trimmer is simply perfect. It trims my beard accurately and cleanly and never pulls or tears. The six adjustment setting, each of which is for a specified length, are precise and foolproof. The guard is exactly the right size and shape, allowing me to get the trimmer into my chin and the side of my neck. The integrated charger is cleverly designed; it's very convenient not having a charge-cord to forget when I travel. The unit is lightweight and easy to clean. It would have been nice to have had a travel pouch, but the price is so good that I don't feel short-changed by its omission. Faultless design at a great price.

Comment: I decided I would try a new brand and was not pleased with this. It doesn't get short enough with the attachment on and tends to pull hair too. I would not buy this again.

Comment: Like the title says, I use this for manscaping the squid and boys. Works great for this. Never had a cuttage problem to date!!!

Summary: Compact, effective, durable, but short battery life
Comment: Bought one around 2002 and I'm happy to say it still works to this day, but the charge only lasts about 3 minutes and the blades move very slowly. I recall it starting to lose its charge around the third year, and so I looked for another one but could no longer find it in stores, and at that time I wasn't into Internet shopping, so I settled for a Wahl 9918 (after trying/returning 15 or so others), which still works perfectly do this day, but is not suitable for trimming/evening out hair on the head, legs, arms, chest, etc, plus you need the chord to recharge it. The Pansonic is very compact, has a super, easy-to-use depth gauge and has a built-in plug, making it simplier to use. It seems others have had problems with the charge too, and I think with this new one I'm going to avoid keeping it plugged in the majority of the time, as that may have over-burdened it and shortened its life span. I ordered four so I'd have a few backups in case they ever discontinue this, which I'm sure they eventually will. I've tried them all, and this is the best around for trimming applications.
