Summary: makes a water mess
Comment: Yes, it is the right size, and yes it looks nice on my counter-top (I got it to replace a white stained one that we had), but boy, my husband can not keep from splashing water all over my counter. I was hoping he would adapt to it, but he has not, and everyday I wake up to wet mess. The older version was much easier to fill without splashing over. It needs a re-design!

Comment: This little maker brews a decent cup of coffee quickly. You won't have any problems with it if you follow the instructions and not add too much water or coffee grounds. If you prefer your coffee very strong, and you add a lot of grounds, you will have a mess. My wife likes her brew kinda weak, so it works for us. When I want it a little stronger, I use a darker roast.
Perfect for using less counter space and not wasting extra coffee. I chose this maker over the others that brew two cups at once. I just use a second mug and brew two cups with this one, or brew and pour into a second mug and brew again.
If you're a professional coffee drinker, this is not for you. But if you just want a decent cup quickly, you will be satisfied with this unit particularly for the price.

Comment: I bought this about one month ago. I works well. It works quickly, and the coffee tastes fine. Good quality for the price.

Comment: Purchased this unit (excellent price) just so I could have a fresh brewed cup of coffee at my desk at work.
The unit works perfectly (as long as you don't overfill the grounds basket), brews the cup in less than two minutes, auto shuts off, and is a snap to clean.

Wouldn't this make a great gift for a student, or a commuter? The machine brews right into the thermal travel mug and then shuts itself off, so your favorite coffee lover can simply grab and go!
