Comment: I am in the process of selecting music for my daughter's wedding and wanted to listen to a variety of music. This CD provided that for me. Now I have a better idea what selections we will use through the ceremony.

Comment: I bought this CD hoping to find some background music for my wedding reception and (fingers crossed) ceremony. While the music and recordings are high-quality and the cd does sound great, it sounds a little "father-of-the-bride."

It sounds a little like the kind of music that would be the stereotypical background music in a movie about weddings. Much of the tracks are 4 piece string quartet and, because of this, it lends itself to a more traditional wedding ambience. I recommend this piece for anyone looking for purely traditional, and possibly stereotypical wedding music. If you want something more upbeat, I recommend anything by Michael Buble or standards like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Comment: Quite likely, anyone looking at this CD will be either organizing a wedding or getting married anyway. This is the first wedding CD I bought and while I like a few of the songs, it has given me more ideas for more. Some of the music can be used elsewhere too, including photo slideshows, dinner preludes, etc so it's not a waste of money. There's an insert with more CDs and Music ideas as well.
