Comment: Dry tip, ineffective. I figured it would have had to have some kind of wet solution inside it to wash smudges. All this thing does is smear the dry black gunk that comprises the polishing tip. I got no benefit out of this item whatsoever.

Comment: Great for on the go! I keep this in my camera bag when I am in the field. As we all know you can't take all your equiptment with you all the time and my Nikon cleaning system never makes the cut. This is so small, fits in the bag and it's great for quick touch up's. I have no issues with swirling. It might be because I clean my lenses frequently and don't have excess build up to deal with. Possibly? Anyway, if you plan on using it as your only cleaning option it may work, but it is truly a perfect addition to your bag at no cost in space.

Comment: Tried to use this on a very sensitive lens and the pad at the end left little smudge marks. They were easily removed with lens cleaner, but this was not the best buy for my needs. Great idea though.

Comment: This type of cleaning system for lenses works great. I ended up getting the smaller one, just like this larger one also. They keep the lenses of my cameras spotless. They fit in the camera bags and have the option of clipping to the side of the bag on the outside so that they are handy but won't get lost.
