Deadwood Magazine is a monthly look at the American West, with features on the woolly history of the frontier, legendary characters, contemporary events, outdoor recreation, and art and culture. All topics are linked to the legendary--and sometimes eccentric--character of Deadwood, one of the last gold camps on the American frontier. Particular attention is paid to the Black Hills region of South Dakota and Wyoming. Original research and previously unpublished photos from the collection of Deadwood's Adams Museum are of special interest. The editors of Deadwood Magazine are members of the Western Writers of America and the Society of American Travel Writers. Photographers have shot for clients including Warner Bros. Records and Country Music Television.
