Summary: Really pretty good, just takes more time to shave now
Comment: Purrs like a tiger and seems to last longer on batteries than the Braun instructions indicate, but for me it will go over the same wisker 10 times before it finally gets caught in the foil and pulled in. But for the price just impossible to complain about that too much. Great design and mobility...

Comment: This is a very nice foil shaver, which happens to run on AAA batteries. The pop-up (actually slide out) trimmer is a little awkward to use until you get used to it, since it sticks out from the side. My husband uses it in our RV where we may not have 120 volts for a corded shaver or charger, and its compact size and light weight are also advantages.

Summary: Must Have Portable Shaver!!
Comment: This shaver is excellent as a foil shaver! If you had electric shavers before, a lot of people will agree that there is little difference (at least that's what I've experienced) between an electric foil shaver worth $100 and this portable one which is worth less than $20.
The movable cap makes the shaver into a case itself and the functionality is excellent which also includes the feature that allows it to be washed under the faucet. The brush is conveniently placed on the bottom of the shaver which snaps into place. The only negative comment about it is the precision trimmer as it is placed at a different angle then the foil shaver itself at a 90 degree angle facing horizontally. I'm pretty scared that if you don't push it correctly, it might be easy to break and it is kind of hard to use, especially if you have really thick sideburns.
Battery life is excellent. I've used the same double A batteries for a month using it about a minute every time I use it and it's still going! Highly recommended for every type of guys, especially if you're always on the go!

Comment: It just does a poor job! Don't waste your money.
I have a light beard and normally use a Norelco at home. I was looking to use something more compact to carry when traveling. It just doesn't do the job.

Summary: For an electric, this is all you need
Comment: Maybe grizzly men with thick wiry stubble would need something more heavy-duty, but I've been using this for 7 months now and it's wonderful. I stuck two 2500mA nickel metal hydride batteries in it and I've only had to recharge them once so far, which seems amazing. Sure you have to go back over your face several times and it misses hairs on the outskirts, but all electric shavers do that. Spending 100-200 bucks will buy you some extras gismos for gadget-heads, but little meaningful gains. Plus you can just wash it under the tap to clean it. Honestly, for 15 bucks you should buy this shaver for yourself and friends. They will think you spent a lot more.
