Summary: Best flashlight ever
Comment: I have owned several flashlights but the Stinger HP is the best. I have had it for 8 months and it works great. I ordered it with the two Fast Chargers.In less than 30 minutes charging time at home or in my car, it's back up to the brightest light ever. I broke the charger part that goes into my cigarette lighter. It was my fault. I called Streamlight's customer service and with no questions asked they mailed me another part free of charge. I use the light daily on my job.

Summary: Great Flashlight
Comment: This flashlight is easy to carry and/or store in your vehicle or home. And, for its size, it puts out a lot of light. Mine will easily illuminate something out to 75 yards at night.
I purchased the option that includes AC and DC chargers so you can charge in your home or in your car/truck.

Comment: Very powerful, yet smaller, lighter than most comparable lights. Having 2 chargers is nice, too. Would've given 5 stars, but the set is lacking a sheath to carry it in, would be nice if a basic one were included. Quite a few are available from different companies, though.

Summary: I think the Stinger is Amazing..
Comment: I do not know about the previous reviewer but I started with the 40K Stinger and am amazed at how bright it is. My only previous reference is Maglight and excuse the pun but they do not hold a candle to Streamlight. I have recommended these to my friends and would continue to do so.

Summary: Don't waste your money
Comment: I own the Streamlight Stinger/rechargeable with the regular 25,000 candlepower (CP) lens. I then bought the 40,000 CP adapter ($35.00) to improve the performance and increase the power of my Stinger. I was disappointed immediatelly: the additional 15,000 CP that came with the new broad head lens and the new larger bulb seem to be almost unnoticeable. No one I worked with could tell the difference. Also, the light seems to wear out faster (low runtime) and tended to shine in a more yellow hue which is less effective than the white hue of most high performance lights. By adding the new broad head adapter lens and larger bulb my Stinger became an HP, but in the end I, as well as others, noticed it was not any better and probably not as efficient.
