I remember being a child in school watching the Cicely Tyson & Paul Winfield classic, and I'm just being honest, but nothing beats the original. If you're going to watch the modern remake, do yourself the favor and enjoy the classic too! It's one-of-a-kind :) Customer Rating: Summary: I loved it!
