Summary: Great Bargain!!!
Comment: This ladder is perfect for the average homeowner who needs a little boost. Now, I'm no expert on ladders but I'll tell you what I like about this:
-The moving parts are easy to manipulate
-It's sturdy (holds up to 300lbs!)
-It's a great price (try finding another ladder with the same capabilities for the same price)
-It collapses to a very small size for easy storage
-It's highly versatile
As for the dislikes, the list is very short: The rungs are fairly slim. They're very sturdy, but there's not a lot of foot room if you need to stand for long periods. Again, I'm not a ladder guy so maybe this is normal, but at any rate you can buy a AC18MT STEEL LADDER PLATFORM to use as either a step platform or for a workspace for paint, tools, etc.
Some have complained that it is heavy, but I don't think it's any worse than comparable ladders.
One note, if you want something to get up on your roof with, you may need a longer version (like the 17ft or 22ft versions).
Overall I'm extremely pleased with my purchase!

Comment: Yes, it is heavy but it feels very safe. You don't feel wobbly and for someone with two bad knees and hips I felt safe climbing same. I wish the steps itself were wider, but a good pair of sturdy sneakers helps.
Also the price was excellent in comparison to the little giant.

Comment: This is a great ladder if you only are going to buy one ladder, and use it once every month or two. It is versatile, and strong with a 1A rating.
I gave it only three stars because it's heavy; at thirty five pounds its ten pounds heaver than the 13' little giant. And weight it a big issue if you're lugging a ladder around often with one hand as your holding something in the other. Another problem is the steps are narrow and uncomfortable if you're on a ladder a lot. Plus there's no top shelf to place tools, like on a normal stepladder.
The real positive for this ladder is its ability to be placed on stairs, which no other ladder can do. And that's the reason I bought this ladder.

Comment: My family has two ladders like this, and I can not speak highly enough about them. This is a 13 foot ladder at it's longest reach, but collapses down to 4 foot to fit in my compact car to travel with. It worked great for me painting on stairs, climbing up to my roof, cleaning downspouts, and as scaffolding. These are excellent ladders that every home owner should invest in. Likely for light useres like me, the only ladder you will ever need to buy. Very sturdy and stable as a stepladder or strait ladder. A must have for the weekend warriors.

The Werner 13-foot Type 1A 300-pound duty rating telescoping multiladder can convert into a 3- to 5-foot stepladder strong enough to hold two people; a 7- to 11-foot extension ladder, or 1- to 2-foot scaffold. Adjust the height easily with the spring-loaded J locks, and use the set of hinges to separate out the ladder into two stepladders, with just a plank required to use them as scaffolding. The ladder has 13 different working heights or positions, double-riveted steps for maximum durability, and an extra-wide flared bottom to provide firm support.
