Summary: 1 star are you kidding? really good stuff
Comment: I don't know how this got 1 star, I eat asian food all over this great U.S.A., hot and sour is my favorite that I look for. This is really good for comeing out of a can. I have actully eaten worse at some buffets.
I like to put some rice wine vinegar, and mushrooms, and sesame oil in mine, that really helps with it tasting like the real thing, sometime I even put in some fresh ginger and julianned carrots, if I have the time.
If you don't have time it is still really good if you like hot and sour soup. The best mix I have found, and I am always looking.
The best real Hot and Sour soup I ever had was at the Epcot center in Disney World, at the China resteraunt,the actual sit down resteraunt in the Chinese part of epcot, not the resteraunt by soarin. Man it is so good, had a little fresh cilantro in it wow taste explosian! Uhh sorry try the soup, also I really like the kung pao noodles from this company to put in the soup very addictive enjoy!

Summary: Small!! 1/4 the size of the usual supermarket version
Comment: Wow, I was super surprised at the size of this soup mix. I use to buy the same brand from Ranch 99 in Southern Cal. And when I opened the box, the mix I was sent was the mini-version or trial size. Only 8 oz! What a rip off, the price and the shipping. Please be aware that you are getting the small version!

Summary: Good, but not that hot
Comment: this is a very mild "hot and sour" soup. Not as spicy as what I've found in restaurants. It has no MSG, though and is probably the only mix that doesn't have that ingredient.
It's a very bargain price. One can makes a lot of servings, like ten as I recall. We ordered three cans: we were bored with it by can 1. It's decent but we aren't that thrilled with it.

Comment: I love hot & sour soup. I have tried other soup mixes before but either they were not that good or they were just to expensive to purchase on a regular basis. Not only does this soup taste authentic, the price is unbelievable. For less that the cost of a one serving package of some of the other products I have tried, this container makE`s 10 cups of soup.
