Summary: Sure enough, it puts water up your nose.
Comment: I bought the Nasal Irrigator (or "nose plunger" as I've come to call it) to deal with some issues from seasonal allergies. My symptoms were pretty much the same things other people are describing - heavy congestion to the point that it interfered with breathing. Originally, I was set to buy a water pik with the nasal attachments, but then I decided the irrigator looked easier and cheaper for the same end result, and there were plenty of people who said they liked it better than the pik. In fact, after reading the other reviews I had pretty high hopes for miraculous results.
But no, this is pretty much just a syringe that squirts water up your nose, and that's it. It probably helped my congestion a little - I've been using it for a few weeks now - but there haven't been any dramatic improvements. It's not uncomfortable as long as you get the water-to-salt ratio right (my reading and personal experience suggest about 1/8 tsp of Kosher Salt to 1 cup of warm water per nostril), and the rubber stopper on the tip seems to create a pretty good seal.
I'll probably keep using it and hope the results improve over time, but it wasn't the same sort of nasal epiphany for me that it seems to have been for some other people. I'm tempted to only give it 3 stars, but I suppose it does a pretty good job at it's stated goal - it does in fact put a lot of water up my nose without any discomfort, even if the end result isn't ultimately what I was hoping for.

Summary: Nasaline Rinse Helps Me Breath Easier
Comment: I have a deviated septum and was always troubled with stuffed nasal passages. I usually clear my nose during my morning shower. Now I use the Nasaline rinse system at night. It let me breath easier when I sleep and my wife says that my snoring is also reduced.

Summary: Better than the Neti Pot !
Comment: I love this thing ! No worry of breaking it while traveling, unlike the Neti Pot which is made of ceramic. Himalayan Institute Original Neti Pot, Ceramic The perfect device for those who suffer with sinus infection and headaches due to pollen and dust allergies. It also comes in smaller sizes for children. Because it is syringe style you have more control over how much or little force you want to use to irrigate the sinuses.

Summary: Nasaline works perfectly
Comment: This product is great. It has helped tremendously with my sinuses during the spring. It is extremely easy and quick to use. I can't imagine why anyone would waste their time with a neti pot when this is available. And, I use it with just regular salt of the store shelf. Works fine. I'm saving the little packets for when I travel. My only advice is to work to make sure the water temperature is right when you use it. If the water is too cool or too hot, you'll end up with a little nasal irritation, but when the water is the right temperature, it's like you just gave your sinuses a massage.

Summary: Instant sinus allergy relief
Comment: My nose becomes itchy and runny every spring from tree pollen. It's so debilitating that I need to limit my exposure to the outdoors. I've tried several antihistamines without any noticeable improvement.
Nasal irrigation provides instant relief of my symptoms. Nasal irrigation seems to be most effective if I've been outside for a while and then do it as soon as I go indoors for an extended period. Sometimes I need to do it several times a day. I've tried the Netti Pot type of nasal irrigation but I find it awkward to tilt my head way back and try to pour the water into my nose as it runs down my face.
The Nasaline product lets me wash out my sinuses while I'm bent forward over a sink. It's much more convenient, ergonomic and thorough. The included salt packets dissolved in water work well, but I prefer to use a product called Alkalol instead.
Nasal irrigation with Nasaline makes being outdoors during the spring months much more bearable and I'll probably be using it for the rest of my life.
