Summary: Great pants, but "wrinkle-resistant"?
Comment: Very high-quality pants, and I love the feel of them when wearing. However, be warned of two things:
1) When you wash the pants, plan to spend some time ironing them. They come out of the dryer looking like crumbled up tissue paper. Also plan on steam ironing them after a day of wearing. They start to wrinkle in the crotch and thigh area after just a few hours of wearing.
2) The crease on the pant leg is extremely hard to find after they've been washed. I thought I had found it initially and ironed the pants accordingly, only to find out the next morning that I'd missed the crease by about half an inch, and now had two creases running down the pant leg. My recommendation is not to iron them immediately after they come out of the dryer, but let them hang for a couple of hours. The crease becomes more apparent the longer they set out.
Also, if you need the length adjusted, take to a good tailor. The one I went to adjusted the cuff, but I guess he didn't make his seam at the bottom of the pants as permanent as the original one. After they were washed, the cuff reverted back to the original seam, even though the top off the cuff was sewn to the seam of each leg. This resulted in an uneven and horrible looking cuff, which I had to spend a lot of time straightening and pressing out with an iron.
I love linen, but not enough to spend this much time taking care of "casual" trousers. I'll be taking these pants back. This is far from the norm for Jos. A. Banks.

Comment: Lovely trousers; but, on the third order that I made, through Amazon, the price was quoted as 47.70/pair, which I thought was a pre-Father's Day sale price; but Jos. A Bank added an extra charge for the trousers to reflect the price of 59.90/pair which I had paid previous to what I assumed was a reduction. That seems a bit misleading to me, either on the part of Amazon or Jos. A Bank. Would be nice if one or the other would be completely accurate in their price quotation. Otherwise, I have no complaint about the products' looks or quality.

As always, our diligence to improve the performance of a customer favorite has paid off. The fact is, linen is cool but prone to wrinkling and requires a certian amount of pampering. Our exclusive finish helps the fabric to maintain a smooth appearance all day long. Double reverse pleats, extended waist tab, on-seam pockets, back besom pocket. Machine wash. Imported.
