Summary: Worked great for a while
Comment: Seemed to be a good, inexpensive watch with atomic accuracy. It crapped out after about 18 months. Display & hands were mismatched, re-linking didn't help. It had been beat up, scratched crystal & broken pin on the band (glued the band to the case, worked fine), both issues reported by others. Oh well, not a big investment.

Comment: I purchase this for my husband. He cannot wear metal bands and leather doesn't usually last very long. He loves the watch! He said it is dependable, comfortable and seems to be long-wearing. He has a very expensive watch that he can't keep a band on it and he said this one was more serviceable or comfortable than his expensive watch. He is very please, therefore, I am pleased too.

Comment: I've ordered several of this model over the years, and found it to be reliable and well constructed. It's handy to replace a watch with the same model (if you like it), for you already know all the complex functions a watch like this has.

Summary: Not as good as the older Waveceptors
Comment: Sadly, for some reason Casio has altered the styling and seems to have cut back on some of the features of its Waveceptor line in the last couple of years. This watch is a descendent of the older WVA-510 line but in my opinion it is not as stylish as the older watch (which is no longer available) and its plastic band makes it look cheaper than it should.
I came to Amazon to look for a replacement for my old Casio WVA-510TA watch and I was hoping that Casio would have added some features to the Waveceptor line (perhaps analog month/day/date perpetual calendar, minute repeater, access to international atomic clocks) but I find that, if anything, Casio's Waveceptor line has degenerated. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good watch, but since there are no new features I see no reason to give up my old watch.
