I saw a Silpat that was made in a size specifically for toaster ovens. I figured that the toaster oven version was just a different size, so I went with this, because it fit my oven better. After scouring websites and reading the instructions, I decided not to use it in my toaster oven. Every source of info said not to use it while broiling. My oven seems to use the top element in all settings, and I assume that is what people mean by broiling. Customer Rating: Summary: Great mat Comment: These mats are great! I've ordered more already. I don't know how they work, but absolutely nothing sticks to them. So, no more oiling or spraying the cooking sheets. Consequently, no more scrubbing burnt grease off the sheets. I have baked cookies, rolls, chicken, french fries. The texture of the baked items is still good and the clean-up is considerably easier! I'm sold! Cleanup is a breeze, items brown evenly and don't stick. If you haven't tried it, get one. You'll be glad you did. I have just the large size and will buy a small one as well.
