Comment: I can only ad on to what everyone else says about this Chili Powder. There is nothing else like it. You can go through twenty kinds and still not come close to the taste of Gebhardt's. It is very hard to find in grocery stores anymore, so finding it on the net was a godsend. If you haven't tried it you don't know what you are missing. A smooth, hearty taste of chilies without the heat, and it doesn't taste raw like others can. Try it, you'll like it. Karen Weaver

Comment: I think Gebhardt's Chili Powder is the best. It has a wonderful flavor. Because it's not scorchingly hot, you can add alot of flavor without the heat. I love it!

Summary: Makes A Great Chili!
Comment: I first tried to find the canned Gebhardt's chili that I had enjoyed in my younger years but discovered that they are no longer manufactured. I decided to try the Gebhardt chili powder due to its excellent reviews on Amazon and had my wife make a pot of chili following the original Gebhardt's recipe posted elsewhere on the web. The resultant chili was amazingly delicious. I got comments such as "great taste" and "awesome" from all who tried it. I was out four of the six bottles I ordered because employees and friends wanted to make it for their families.
All I can say is if you're a chili lover, don't use all those cheaper brands or you'll miss out on the best tasting chili you'll ever try.

Comment: Gebhardt's Chili Powder is the only chili powder that I will use. I have been using it for over 50 years and let me tell you that it's the best. When I could no longer find it in the local stores I turned to the Internet. It was good enough for my Mother then it should be good enough for the whole world. As for the purchasing experience well that was good also.

Comment: The merchant who sold and shipped this product is worth the 5 points here. Hometown Favorities got this to my door in about 3 days, which is incredible!
The product is good, but really, if you toast some dried chilis, cumin and blend it with smoked paprika you'll get better results. Now, that's my personal view but I understand and respect that quite a few folks swear by this stuff and that's fine - it's not bad, it's just that fresh, whole-food ingredients are better.
