Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect basket Comment: I love this basket. It is very sturdy and easy to use on the grill. All I do is oil it with olive oil before using and grill what I want too, like shrimp, steaks (fish or beef) and vegetables. Clean it with a scrub brush and your ready for another use.....
Customer Rating: Summary: An improvement over previous non-stainless steel Comment: I have the stainless steel basket and a family member has the older non-stainless steel type, the stainless steel version cleans up considerably easier. I have found it cleans up without soaking it over night if you use Bar Keepers' Friend® on a heavy duty sponge. I also feel that using higher-smoke point oils like peanut oil, extra-light olive oil, refined safflower, or refined avocado helps in reducing sticking, mess and clean-up effort.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great for grilling! Comment: We have used this pan several times since purchasing and we love it! We have made onions, mushrooms, peppers and several other veggies in it and they come out great every time. Not too bad to clean up either.
Customer Rating: Summary: A MUST Comment: This is a must for every grill person. During the spring and summer when our grill is going 5 out of 7 nights our grill pan is used constantly. It's easy, a breeze to clean and everything comes out perfect!
Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect for meals for two Comment: I purchased this to have as an alternative to the Weber Style Professional Grade Grill Pan, which I also purchased. Both of these items are currently on sale (if you could call it that) for $19.99, but super saver shipping and the 4 for 3 special apply. The heavy weight construction and design are the same in both items. I wanted this one for grilling for meals for just the two of us rather than getting the larger grill dirty. Even though it is intended for vegetables, with the raised sides, you could still use it for meats. Again, I'm going to use PAM on the surface in order to help with cleaning afterward.
