Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome gloss...full, shiny, girly, sexy lips! Comment: I just got my Venom Gloss today and was so excited to try it. I was apprehensive about the feeling of irritation that I'd read about, but to my pleasant surprise, it was only a burning sensation similar to when I have gotten tabasco sauce or hot salsa on my lips. It wasn't painful at all. Like other reviewers have noted, the stimulation actually feels good once you get used to it, and as it wears off, you miss it. I've had this gloss on for about an hour now: it began to tingle within 1 minute of applying it, and the height of the sensation lasted for roughly 10-15 minutes, then faded to a warm tingle. If you've ever used BenGay or mentholatum or anything like that, then you'll know what it will feel like, because it fades to that sort of feeling (or at least, it did for me). I didn't like the flavor initially, when the "hot sauce" sensation first began, as it seemed to taste kind of metallic or something to me. But as the tingling calmed down, the flavor did, too. Now it tastes ever so faintly sweet, like bubblegum, maybe, and it smells absolutely delicious, like rainbow sherbet, but with a tiny hint of cinnamon. The gloss is not sticky or tacky; it feels similar to petroleum jelly so it's very smooth, and it produces incredible shine! Like other reviewers, I don't notice "Angelina-ish" plumping, but my lips definitely look full, shiny, girly, and sexy...so I have no complaints about that! I bought Tulip and Love-In-A-Mist, and both go on as sheer color, so don't expect your lips to look as bold as the color looks in the tube. Love-In-A-Mist is a pretty lavenderish-pink, and it's a great neutral over my regular lipstick. The Tulip is a cool pink-red (as opposed to a warm orange-red), like a raspberry kind of color. Both colors provide gorgeous shine and fullness! But don't take my word for it...try them for yourself!
Customer Rating: Summary: My never-ending quest has ended... Comment: For a long time I jokingly said I was on a never-ending quest to find the perfect sheer red lip gloss. Then I found Venom Gloss in Tulip. Quite simply, I LOVE IT! I don't think it stings too much at all, it does last pretty long too. I think it moisturizes well, which was one of the attributes of what I thought was the nonexistent gloss. Also, and honestly I don't know why I was so specific about the perfect sheer red gloss coming in a tube, but I was. I don't much like glosses or balms in a pot you have to apply with your fingers, with a brush is ok, but for some reason I really like tubes.
So my search has ended. Now I just have to try some other colors at some time, but I have my red.
Customer Rating: Summary: Even with Daily Use, this Lasts Forever Comment: I use this almost every time I put on makeup or lipstick. The gloss used to be more spicy, but my lips are now used to the plumping ingredients. The Love-in-a-Mist is a all-purpose color you can use as a lip gloss over lipstick and as a base for the moisturizing qualities. Lipstick lasts longer and your lips always look fabulously pouty. I haven't tried the more intense (I hear) glosses by DuWop. This one is mild and you get the benefits of lip plumping without the feeling of rubbing chili peppers on your lips.

Customer Rating: Summary: Nice gloss, doesn't plump Comment: I think the bottom line with this lip gloss is that it must feel different to different people. Some people say it stings to the point of almost hurting, some people say barely at all. When I put it on my lips, I barely felt anything at all. After about 2 minutes it felt a little tingly, but nowhere near being painful.
The gloss was nice and thick and I really like the way it looks on my lips! I got the Lantana color, which goes on mostly clear/glossy with the tiniest hint of pink. I noticed no "plumping" at all, but I still liked the way it looked.
The price is pretty steep, and if you're strapped for cash, I don't think it's worth it to spend that much on this lip gloss. There are no miracles... it won't make you transform into Angelina! But if you have the money to throw around, you won't be dissapointed!
Customer Rating: Summary: A breakthrough in lip gloss!! Comment: DuWop, once again, has out done herself. Not only is she a chart-topping recording artist, she is now a makeup creator. Plump lipglosses are delicious, they smell amazing, and they are the ultimate lip gloss.
