Comment: I have read many reviews and I wanted to make sure my review was precise and informative. I am an African American who decided to go natural 5 months ago. I cut my hair into a bob, blow dried and flat ironed it and noticed my hair looked a HOT mess. I went to Sephora searching for a relaxer from the Phyto line. Once I explained what I needed to the young lady she suggested this product. 1, This should be used and wet hair for best results. 2, You must apply from root to ends. And 3, a little goes a long way. I immediately went home and applied it to my dry, over heated, 75% chemical free hair. ( I know I should have waited until I washed it, but I was anxious.) This product was amazing! I blowed dried and I flat ironed my hair and you could not even see that I had 4 inches of natural roots on my sleek bob. I cant wait to try it on my hair wet. I also live in NC, which the sun and humidity can be a killer. I played with my son for an hour yesterday, and my hair still held up great. ALSO, you should not use this product daily on really course or frizzy hair. Once every wash. And if you are still having frizz, then maybe you are washing your hair too much! Great product.

Summary: Gonna Trust the Reviews
Comment: Okay I havent bought this product yet but Im on the verge. Due to the large number of good reviews, I am going to challenge this product to keep my short bob tamed. I have relaxed hair and in the desert (Im a deployed soldier)relaxed hair is hard to maintain. My relaxer has already nearly completely dissapeared after 3 weeks. So I am trusting ya'll; I will let ya'll know how it works out.

Comment: I have very thick, wavy, frizzy, dry hair which has just gotten more difficult as I have gotten older and the grays have started to come in. My hair has a tendency to curl--but absolutely never in a way that anyone would ever want their hair to curl.
I've found this product to work very well for me in combination with a few other products. First I use very mild shampoos, don't shampoo my hair every single day and I use high quility conditioners. I like the conditioners with Shea butter--Fikkai has a great Shea butter conditioner if you really want to treat yourself. But, I have found some really nice Shea butter conditioners at "whole foods" type retailers, too. Also, I have found that even with the Phyto my ends can still be a tad puffy. If you have that problem try Garnier Fructis Style Brilliantine Water-Based Shine Wax just on the tippy ends after blow drying with the Phyto.
I was really pleased the other day when I followed this routine on a morning where the radio broadcaster was predicting "90% chance of additional rain" and had perfectly unfrizzy hair all day. :o)

Summary: If you want beautiful hair, use this product
Comment: I've been a long-time user of Phytodefrisant. I've tried many straightening products, only to have them straighten but leave my hair dull and rough or not straight enough. I have naturally curly hair so I need something that straightens it, gets rid of frizz, and makes it shiny. Phytodefrisant does that!
I recommended this product to other friends, who also love it and use it! My friend with very fine hair uses it because it gives her hair enough texture without weighing it down, as well as leaving it silky. My other friend who has coarse slightly wavy hair says it's the only thing that makes her hair shiny. What I've noticed is that with continued use my hair got softer and softer because of the great ingredients in it!
I've tried using it different ways, and the best way I've found it putting it in my hair right after a shower and giving it some time to sink in while I put on my makeup. It seems to do a better job that way!
