Summary: Absorbs oil, does not flake, makes your face glow...what more does a girl need
Comment: They say that mineral products are better for your skin as they don't harm the skin and let the skin breathe naturally as opposed to more oil based cosmetics. That's nice to have but the mineral veil had to really excel as a cover-up product before I'd spend any money on it. But the good news is that it actually works.
The veil is composed of very fine corn-starch which helps with the oil absorption and smoothing out your skin. You have to get one of those kabuki brushes and really blend in the powder on your face after you're done with applying your usual lotions and foundation. The more you blend the better it looks. The trick is to take a very small quantity and blend it in till your face starts to glow. It makes my face look brighter yet not made up at all and it absorbs the oil to keep away the dreaded shine.
The only downside to using this product is that the proper blending takes more time than just throwing on some lotion mixed with a little foundation after washng my face(which is what I usually do). This is done in addition and adds 2 minutes or more to my routine. So although it makes me look good, I usually don't spend the time to use it except on special occasions.

Comment: This mineral 'foundation' is an incredible product for coverage. It is ultra light, yet covers well. Mineral veil is the lightest 'powder' step you will ever feel! It really is a revolutionary step. In a few hours after wearing it my skins feels a bit more supple which is wonderful for a makeup! I was very skeptical at first, but LOVE it now~
The product is worth trying and you won't let anyone convince you differently on your foundation for life!

Comment: This is a nice enough loose powder, but that's about all it is: nice enough. Yes, it does make my skin look smoother, more even, and it reduces shininess. But all powders do that, and this one doesn't seem to have any greater effects beyond any other powder I've tried. I also found that it wore off rather quickly. For me, this simply wasn't worth the price.

Summary: Best Makeup I've used by far!
Comment: I've used this makeup for around 9 months now. At first it did look cakey when I applied it, but I learned I was applying to much and not buffing it into the brush correctly. Also if your face starts to look cakey you just need to clean the brush. The only part of the starter kit I didn't use was the warmth. It made my face look too orange. Since using BE my acne has disappeared. I would recommend this makeup to anyone who has sensitive skin. It also doesn't just melt off like liquid foundations do and is better for your skin. My aunt even uses this product at her beauty salon. Just try BE you won't regret it.
