Comment: Not a bad product, but it is not designed for a big person. It works well if your small and thin. If your a big guy, you may want to try something else. It does not fit well when you put it on if your big and makes moving things uncomfortable.

Summary: Makes Moving Heavy Items Very Easy
Comment: I moved two sets of bedroom furniture and the Shoulder Dolly made it extremely simple. No tired arms or sore shoulders the next day. No longer will you have to worry about dropping your items because there is absolutely no discomfort. It's very easy to use and uses the strength of your legs instead of your back and arms. The item should be in every home.

Comment: Why are the best ideas always so simple? We recently used the shoulder dolly to move most of our furniture from a two story home. It was slightly awkward the first time we set them up and moved around with them, but once we got the hang of it I started to wonder how I ever functioned without them. I knew that it was the best 40 bucks I had spent in a long time when my husband and I were standing in the garage with a large heavy dresser suspended between us arguing about the best place to set it down. Trust me when I tell you, I'm a strength weenie, I think my husband was amazed that I could not only help him move, but could pull my weight.. literally!
The stairs are a bit awkward the first time down as well. The trick is to make the strap between you shorter and it will lift the furniture higher allowing you to walk down the stairs. I'm not intimidated by moving large pieces of furniture anymore so this product has managed to move my furniture and my stress! Quit thinking about it and buy them.

Summary: It helps, but it can be improved
Comment: Definitely the shoulder dolly helps you lift heavy and bulky objects with ease. But don't think you can lift objects heavier than what you're used to- including with your partner. It won't make you and your partner stronger.
It can be improved though. The straps around the neck can be improved to avoid burning the skin around the neck during lifting. Also, there should be a better solution for the long lifting strap. If the lifted object is not that wide, there is a lot of strap hanging, making it very dangerous because one can trip over it.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. My husband was skeptic about it. He is one of those who doesn't like to lift things, but the shoulder dolly definitely has his approval.
