Summary: beverage heater
Comment: great product for travelers who like to make tea or hot chocolate in the hotel room. Good company too.. very responsive and helplful.

Summary: Works fine
Comment: The immersion heater is compact and priced well with a generous electrical cord. The unit meets my needs similar to review #1. It takes longer than expected to heat up my tea and the clip that supports it on a coffee cup is poorly designed allowing the heater to flop around in the cup. Be sure you have an robust electrical circuit in your car as the beast draws 10+ amps. My question is, how long will it last?

Summary: Good enough for my purposes
Comment: Hot water in my flask doesn't stay hot enough for a whole day out, and this is a good way to bring my tea or coffee up to temperature. I haven't tried heating water from cold - it is always at least warm when I start. It takes several minutes and the wait can be a bit tedious, but it does a good job. The clip which is supposed to hold the heater onto the side of the mug doesn't (it flops about), so I have to hold it to keep it properly immersed. It cools off quickly and is reasonably easy to clean with a small brush.

Editorial Reviews:

Heats your beverages in minutes! Not for use with plasitc cups.
