Summary: great item for kids of all ages
Comment: This is by far the nicest ocean drum I have seen for toddlers. It makes a great sound is durable and affordable. The size is perfect for little ones. I recommend this drum for kids ages 1-8years. The width is narrow between the two drum heads that it sustains a 35lb toddler dancing on it without breaking.

One of a series of instruments developed in conjunction with Lynn Kleiner for early childhood use. One head is opaque, with a colorful ocean scene; the other head is clear, allowing you to see the beads moving against the backdrop of the ocean scene. Mallet not included - instead, gently rotate or swirl the drum to produce ocean sounds.
