Summary: There ARE Risks
Comment: First application I got physically nauseous from the smell but by the next day I had become used to it. Killed off the first lesion I noticed right away. I had about ten of them when I started using this product. Around week three a couple small ones disappeared. They did not "fall off" like other customers claimed, just shrank and were no more. I held in for a fourth week because I had read reviews where people called the help line and were asked to give it another week and if no improvement they would get some body wash that would boost the effectiveness. I noticed now that a couple more did literally drop off. THEN CAME THE RASH. An allergic reaction! Like another reviewer's poor daughter I am itching like crazy, red, inflamed. THE SURROUNDING SKIN HAS BEGUN TO PEEL. I was paranoid that I was going to spread it to other parts of my body before! NOW, I'm afraid it's going spread due to the extra sensitivity of the area. I've been using an analgesic creme for the past two days.

Summary: It is a Miracle!!!
Comment: My 3 year old son had a few molluscum that within a few weeks multiplied to over 100 under on his arms, down his side, down his back and then to his knee. The dermatologist froze a few and put beetlejuice on a few, but it was painful and caused scarring and was traumatic. Over the counter wart acid burned terribly. Finding Zymaderm on the web, I decided to give it a try. As an attorney, I figured I could complain to the AG's office if it was snake oil and get my money back. I worried for nothing as the product is great, albeit stinky. Within a month, all but one of his mollescum have totally disappeared and no new ones are appearing. It may look somewhat worse before it gets better, but it works if you keep putting it on at night. Thanks for this miracle cure!! My son can now start preschool.

Summary: Good but not great
Comment: I bought this for my 2yr old daughter. Initially I followed the instructions of applying only 1x/day, and saw hardly any results. After a few weeks I decided to up the dose to 2x/day. The spots definitely run their coarse quicker this way - but I still can't seam to keep them from spreading. Once they are almost healed, they ooze, which is when they multiply. She has about 30 spots sporadically from head to toe, but mostly on the stomach. So far only one of the healed spots looks like it might scar. We have been applying since May, and are just now at the end of the first bottle. I am buying more, because it's better than nothing - but I'm not conviced it's the best solution. Other products on the market say not for children under 5yrs.

Comment: my 5 yr. old daughter was diagnosed with molluscum by my pediatrician. i was told i needed to wait 18mo - 2 years for it to disappear provided she didn't scratch and spread the virus. which,of course she did and so it spread...quickly! i was alarmed as the molluscum started to make it's way down her torso and strait for genitals...so took matters into hand and started researching. thankfully chancing it on this product which worked in two weeks on all new spots. however,the origin of the virus remained stubborn due to the fact that she had a partnering rash which was too irritated to handle tx.
long and short brought my daughter to dermatoligist and they froze the remaining off...DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR CHILD!! it is horrific and she had giant (1/2" - 1")blisters that burst and scabbed terribly!!
it's 3 weeks later and the scarring and molluscum is still there. stick with zymaderm...

Summary: phenomenal product!
Comment: After attending camp last summer my now 6 year old daughter began to develop molesscum behind her right knee. After treating it for months at a dermatologist she became extremely irritated each and every time and actually developed ecszema from the irritation. I was so sorry for her and had nowhere to turn except the internet.
After researching many different mollescum medicines i came upon these reviews. At the time when i read them there were 85 positive reviews. I thought " how can i go wrong for $30?."
It has been nearly 2 months since i began treatment, twice a day, andf the results are PHENOMENAL. Her worts are almost 75% gone.. there are maybe 5-7 left. The only setback of mollescum is that they leave scars. The medicine does not leave the scars, so have no fear....TRY IT TODAY!!
My daughters self confidence has grown 10000% since june 08 and with her being on camp now the timing couldn't have been better. She is no longer as self concience as she used to be.
