Summary: Not for certain types of diarrhea
Comment: I bought this product for my mother who had surgery and was having diarrhea because they removed part of her small intestine. For diarrhea due to those reasons, it is not effective, though it did relieve her cramps.

Comment: I have celiac disease and it is hard for me to become normal when I have accidently ingested gluten. Sometimes the reaction goes on for weeks or months. Taking Esdifan ended it in 5 days. For me it is like a miracle. It isn't going to allow me to eat gluten of course, but at least it helps me heal quickly.
