The gloves are truly great quality - which why I gave them a 5, but what I didn't think to check was the size. These are huge. They'd be good for backyard grilling, stoking up a fireplace, or, if you're lucky to have one, putting pizzas in and out of a stone oven. :) Just a warning to check the size...these are too big to store in my kitchen - to ackward to handle small dishes. I might have to make a 2 inch cut at the inside seam to allow my hands to get right in, not that I'm Popeye or anything. Other than that though, very nice mitts. Customer Rating: Summary: Too big Comment: The glove I received is around 16" long, not 13". It is way too big for my hand, and I have a hard time grasping anything with it. As the previous reviewer pointed out, the tag says it can handle 450 degrees, not 650, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. Unless you're a man with large hands, I recommend Lodge's Max Temp Handle mitt instead.
