Summary: what's not to love??
Comment: Economically priced, simple, never needs batteries, saves me money by knowing what batteries to toss and which to keep. (Also saves lots of aggravation.) I love this little sucker! Woulda gave it 5 stars but gave it 4 as it was not USA made I don't think.

Comment: This little gadget is convenient for all common size / type batteries. Small, easy to use, accurate. Can use with rechargeable or std. batteries. Very good price, which makes it a good value, but shipping charges were a little on the high size.

Comment: I happen to keep all of my old batteries in a bag under my sink so I can take them to be recycled- I bought this because my daughter had mixed a 24 pack of new AA's with a handful of dead AA's waiting to go into the bag- After sorting the bad from the good I decided to go through my bag under the sink to see if I had mistakenly put some good ones in there- turns out half of the ones I thought were dead were actually just fine- I had taken them out of things that had been on their way out and mistook the machines faults with the battery being dead- I saved 4 times as much as the battery tester cost- Not to mention I was able to check all the batteries in my smoke alarms only to find that half of them were about to die out- Im aware they all have test buttons but who remembers to test them every month and even if the battery has enough power to make it beep that doesnt mean it will make it through the month- as easy to use as changing the channel and a little addictive when you know its saving you money and perhaps your family from getting trapped in a fire

Comment: We looked all over for a simple battery tester and resorted to Amazon when we could not find a single one in stores. We like it. It is simple and easy to use and does not require a battery like some did. Some complain of the shipping cost but we find it is worth every penny. Happy couple.
