Comment: Don't go with knock offs. I have yet to find one that seals and performs as well as the original. At least for now they are worth the money.

Comment: I love putting food in these bags. Especially prepared foods. You put them in the freezer and when you want to make them for dinner, you boil some water and put in the frozen bags. You have a perfect dinner in a very short time. They also really do prevent freezer burn much better than Ziploc bags.

Comment: No more freezer burn. When I buy larger bags of peas, corn etc...I FoodSaver them immediately, breaking them up into portions for two. Yes, it costs more to do this, but the larger bags - maybe a pound and a half or two pounds are good to the last serving. Before this, I had to throw away so many store bought frozen veggies after a short period of time. I have probably saved money by breaking up the larger bags. I also blanch veggies and freeze individual portions in these 8" bags.
