Summary: So-So
Comment: A few years ago I saw Kutless along with Audio A and Tobymac. I wasn't as familiar with them as I was with the other two artists but I was very pleased and impressed with them as a band and in their desire to minister to us. They played the song "Strong Tower" as part of their set and I was determined to get the cd it was on. Well, I am still moved by the song, but not so much by the album.
With the exception of a few cuts, most of this cd is songs we have heard before. The overall sound quality is very good, but has to a point been wasted on some fairly standard songs.
Don't be mistaken, this is a good sounding cd. The songs they chose to cover were good ones. It would have been better if they had recorded some more new or newer songs as well as shared them with us with a harder sound.
I still like this project enough to enjoy listening to it. And I let Kutless lead me in worship as they intended this project to do. I just hope that when they do another worship cd they dig a little deeper for the songs and for the sound as well.

Summary: Kutless CD-Strong Tower
Comment: This CD is self-described as a worship CD, and it lives up to that. I bought the CD for song #1, but have enjoyed all of them. They all focus on our awesome God, helping me to look to Him.

Summary: Kutless is at the cross of Calvary
Comment: Kutless managed to put together a flawless release. standout tracks are
"Draw Me Close", "Better Is One Day", and "Word Of God Speak". these 3 three tracks are sung at Apostolic churches around the globe. one funny thing is that the cover is slightly reminiscent of the 1991 U2 album "Achtung Baby". this is the third Kutless album I have bought, and I recommend this album to Christian listeners.

Summary: A worship album for people who don't like worship albums
Comment: Most Christian artists have released a worship album, and Kutless is no exception. Although they only wrote two songs, "Ready for You" and "All of the Words" (which is "All the Words" from their CD, Sea of Faces), all the songs are great. Kutless made the songs they didn't write sound like they were their own.
Most people would like this album, whether they're Kutless fans or not, or whether they do or don't like worship albums (this is the only worship album I own). If you're a big Kutless fan, or if you like Christian rock in general, you'll like this.
