Customer Rating: Summary: Abysmal Service - Hassle Isn't Worth the Product Comment: I had to send several emails, a telephone call and finally a Paypal complaint to get action. The hassle isn't worth the product. Williams-Sonoma's croissants bake better, and their delivery is always fast and accurate. I'll be using them in the future. Of three purchases only one was delivered correctly. The second order was totally incorrect; plain croissants instead of chocolate ones. I gave them another try because the company did correct that order via 2-day delivery instead of the usual 4-day delivery. But the latest order was also incorrect, and it took almost 2 weeks for them to send the missing item even though it was in stock. The product is OK at best and has gone up in price. Shipping is very high.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very tasty-but can be pricey! Comment: These Artiko Chocolate Croissants are VERY TASTY and easy to do. They arrive frozen in dry ice, so you bake them fresh when you want them. We first experienced the William's Sonoma ones and were impressed with their fast delivery-I think it was overnight for only $10.00. We were bummed that they weren't as chocolaty as we would have liked and a bit pricey. You end up spending $50 for 15 croissants which is about $3.33 a piece. So we went searching on Amazon and the web for an alternative. We got these ARTIKO ones and thought they tasted better because they were more chocolaty. The shipping was $15.00--ouch--and it took a week for the transaction to be complete--as opposed to overnight. I also had to follow up and call the company---then---I got a confirmation email regarding my order. When you add the extra cost of shipping-- it's only about 30 something cents cheaper than William's Sonoma and slower. So, you decide if you want faster and more efficient or tastier and a bit slower. I hope this helps potential hungry folks looking for something special for breakfast. I have to say, that with the bitching from my husband about the cost---he still seemed to look forward to those croissants and didn't want me to give any away to guests--- while he was out of town. So, you take that for what it's worth. FYI-Order the maximum for the shipping price. It goes by price, I believe. I only ordered 12 and wished I had ordered more.
