Summary: Doesn't work well with the Razor V3
Comment: Works well with my home cordless but barely audible on my Razor V3 Cell Phone. Very distorted.

Summary: Clear with top-down at 60MPH
Comment: Top down at 60MPH in my Miata and callers have no idea I am in a car unless maybe a semi roars by doing 80.

Better if the windows are up but even in flat out open-air motoring calls are still legible. Loud and clear in my ear, too, thanks to the nice seal the rubber earpieces give.

Summary: Poor fit. Soft mic
Comment: I decided to try out this wired set since bluetooth sets never sounded good to me. So far it's turning out to be a poor purchase. The fit is terrible for me. None of the earpieces fits me well. I use the small, slightly hard one and have to jam it to get it to stay, so it's quite uncomfortable. It also only "fits" in my left ear. None of the others come close to fitting. If the ear support worked, it might be ok to have a loose fit; however, the ear support has a terrible design. Unless you have Ross Perot ears, it just pulls the mic away from your mouth.

The mic itself is soft. This is not due to the active noise cancellation thing as the long review claims. After taking the earphone off and putting the mic right next to my mouth with the proper side aligned towards my mouth, it still sounds quieter than the mic on my phone. It's true that if you speak "sideways" into the mic, the noise cancellation sends your voice to oblivion, so that is something to be wary of, but I tried all sorts of positions, and even if it is properly aligned, the mic is a little soft and doesn't sound that great.

But because of the fit, I can't position it even close to the optimal position, and as a result the mic gives sounds only about half as loud as my phone's builtin mic. I'm using it without the ear support since that makes the positioning even worse. If the boom was maybe an inch longer it'd be ok, but as it is, there's not much room for adjustment.

If you have ANY doubts about fit, you should AVOID this headset. Even if it fits well, unless you really need a noise-cancelling mic and a noise blocking earpiece, it's alright but not great.

Summary: Not quite best in class
Comment: As an audio reception leader, Shure as predicted had excellent reception. I have tried them all, from Etymotic to Jabra, looking for the best fit in both performance first and comfort second. The QSHB3 had a good fit around the ear and felt comfortable within the ear channel. The unit was quiet with no wind noise thus generating a five star rating for reception. I am rating this item poor overall because recipients could not hear my voice transmissions very well from either of four different positions thus yielding it useless.

Summary: Pretty good
Comment: Little tough to keep stable in your ear and it's strange to have it go so far into your ear. But it works well and solves the issues I've had with so many other headsets where the person I'm talking to can't hear me through background noise.
