Customer Rating: Summary: Getting better each season Comment: I was a faithful Frasier watcher during it's original run. I missed an occasional show. Since it's been off the air, I've watched the syndicated shows whenever I can. I must say that watching every episode in order (I've bought all seasons through season six so far)truly enhances the already great writing and acting from the show. Season five is great. I can't wait to open up Season Six! If you love Frasier, do yourself a favor and watch them all in the order they were released. Enjoy!
Customer Rating: Summary: too too funny Comment: Frasier is so funny..I could watch that cast all day long!
that's why i ordered 3 box sets, and will order the next one.
and you can't beat the quality.
Customer Rating: Summary: Entertaining hilarity Comment: Great to have at hand the entertaining hilarity of the Crane family dynamics; the competitive Crane boys vying to maintain their upper social strata images, coupled with the chagrin of their dad's blue-color unpretentious perspective on life. Spicing up the plot is the continuing frustration of Niles' secret love for Daphne. Intelligent and poetic command of the English language offers great imagery and refreshing entertainment. Tune in at will to great entertainment when you own this set!
Customer Rating: Summary: Frasier is the Best! Comment: You can't beat a good episode of Frasier. Season 5 made me laugh so hard and was a nice treat during the cold winter weather we have been experiencing. I would highly recommend this to anybody.
Customer Rating: Summary: Frasier Season 5 Comment: I am a Frasierholic....so every season is great to me. I really enjoyed season 5. The ensemble cast is just wonderful together. I plan on getting all the seasons to add to my collection.

Frasier's fifth season is marked by two central themes. First is Roz's (Peri Gilpin) unexpected pregnancy, which naturally opens the door for countless promiscuity jokes for the radio show's beleaguered producer. The second is the continuing drama of Niles (David Hyde Pierce) and his frosty wife, Maris, which seemed to finally come to a head. Not that even a good marriage has ever kept Niles from pining for Daphne (Jane Leeves), of course. Frasier's (Kelsey Grammer) show is sailing along, and for the occasion of his 1000th show, is honored by the mayor for "Frasier Crane Day," which allows the cast to do some rare location shooting in Seattle. But he has some problems with KACL management, and the prospect of tough contract negotiations tempts him to return to the Dark Side, in the form of agent Bebe (Harriet Sansom Harris). His personal life continues to sputter, even when he meets a perfect woman (Sela Ward as a fashion model studying zoology, Lindsay Frost as a high-powered defense attorney). The annual guest appearance by ex-wife Lilith (Bebe Neuwirth) comes with a bizarre twist, and his father (John Mahoney) comes to a critical point with his girlfriend (Marsha Mason). Frasier won its fifth consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, Grammer and Pierce won their third and second statuettes, respectively, and Patti Lupone was nominated for her guest appearance as Frasier's vengeful Greek aunt. --David Horiuchi
