Comment: This is such a great product, I just love it. It's not like the one's with the metal balls that dig into your back (I have one of those too and I also love it, but this is a very different kind of product), this is a comfy and relaxing chair that is perfect for bed (great when you're reading) or you can put up against a coffee table (great for watching TV if you sit on the floor - and also great if you play video games).
The arms fold down and the back stays up when there is no pressure, but when you are using it, it definitely needs to be pressed up against something as it will not support you on its own. It's so cool though, there's even a little drink holder in the armrest. The chair is great (and so comfortable) with or without the massage on. The massage is activated by pressing a conveniently located button on the armrest. It's really more like a nice soothing (quiet) vibration running over your back while you read, watch TV, play games, meditate or just sit quietly and relax.
I love this chair; my mom and I actually bought them for each other for Christmas (so we each have one) and we bought one for my sister-in-law too! I use mine a lot and my mom uses hers every day!

Summary: It's ok...
Comment: This product is ok...not great. The cup holder is not really useable because the arm rests are too short. That's something you won't get from the photo. And returns are prohibited because of some sanitation concerns, supposedly. (Although most retail stores allow clothing to be tried on or even returned....) I haven't used the battery operated massager because I'm not really in to that. It's the proper balance between softness and stiffness for me. I sometimes put a pillow at the bottom of the back rest so I can lean back a little more and still have lower back support.

Comment: I bought this item because of a medical condition and not being able to lie down flat in bed. It has helped me and it is comfortable to use while watching TV or reading in bed. The massager is nice too.

Comment: its not that comfortable, the massage is only in one spot and the device inside the cushion for massaging sticks out too much so that if u want to use this without the massage feature on it is uncomfortable to use on ur back. overall i regret this purchase.

Summary: Wonderful Back Rest!
Comment: My husband has a spinal cord injury and complications from a fall at work. He cannot lie down to sleep and has spent the last few months in a chair in the living room. This back rest has made it possible for him to return to our bed and that is a wonderful thing. It is soft, comfortable and convenient to use. I highly recommend it, even for those without physical problems.
