It glides on gently as opposed to a pencil you have to sharpen. It doesn't make a mess or require a sharpener like the traditional lip pencil either. There are a wide array of colors to wear with many different shades of lipstick. Before this I wouldn't wear lip liner at all. Thanks Clinique!!!
