Customer Rating: Summary: Very Disappointed! Comment: When my $80 order was received, the nuts were stale. My previous orders from this merchant were fine, but this time will be the last time. I will not order from them again. I didn't pay any attention to the negative reviews from other patrons. I returned the order to them . I sent many emails over several weeks trying to get an update on whether the company would send a fresh order or refund. It took well over a month and a half to finally receive a refund. The company did not offer any incentive for future purchases with them and that speaks volumes to me in regards to their customer service.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nuts to you! Comment: I got the pistachios I ordered in a short time. They were fresh and tasty. I am in the process of ordering more. I hope they are of the same quality as my first order.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not always fresh Comment: FIRST ORDER WE RECEIVED GREAT FRESH NUTS. REODER AND GOT LOTS MORE EMPTY SHELLS AND TASTED STALE.
Customer Rating: Summary: GREAT Turkish Antep PISTACHIO NUTS!!!! Comment: Even with the shipping cost OH! NUTS is still cheaper than ZENOBIA. I bought a five pound bag of pistachios from Oh! Nuts at $24.95 + $6.88 shipping = $31.83. The same bag cost $39.00 at Zenobia with free shipping. My savings was $7.17, and I received the order by UPS in 3 days and the nuts are EXCELLENT. Also, Zenobia tends to substitute Turkish Antep (thin) pistachios for Turkish Siirt (fat) pistachios which I do not like as they are similar to California nuts.
Customer Rating: Summary: High quality nuts [not consistent quality, see update] Comment: I ordered Turkish Pistachios from this vendor and Zenobia to compare. The nuts quality in terms of size, taste, and flavor is about the same. I could not tell the difference. For small order, I may still buy from Zenobia for the free shipping. But if I need large quantity, I would order from Oh! Nuts.
Update: 7/25/07. My second order is received on 7/12. Its quality is not as good as my first order. Nut size is not uniform, there are many small nuts mixed in. A high percentage are not opened, i.e. the shell is not cracked open. And many of meat inside is green in color, not the typical light yellow. Not sure why the quality is not consistent. Taste is okay, not great, but not bad. Note: The raisin and sunflower seeds are excellent, but I don't eat enough of them to justify shipping.

Some people value flavor above all else. Those people will love our top-quality, Turkish pistachios. Smaller and less open than California-grown pistachios, Turkish pistachios feature a richer, more distinctive taste. Consider these the Rolls Royce of Pistachios.
