Comment: We've had this for about 9 months now and it works great, hasn't broken, hasn't hurt the ipod, and cost almost nothing including shipping. I'd buy it again, but I don't need to as this one is fine.

Comment: Honestly, I was skeptical when I ordered this product, thinking no way would it work for as inexpensive as it was. Much to my surprise (and delight!) when I tried it out for the first time, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. This thing is great!

Comment: Annoyingly, AFTER I bought this cable--after it was confirmed, and shipped to me, and arrived, and I attempted to use it with my new iPhone 3G (only to get a "this device is not supported by iPhone" message and an alarmingly loud and persistent beeping from the iPhone) did the vendor change the item name and description to state that it is not compatible with the iPhone 3G. Yes, I get that NOW it says the correct information, but it was mis-advertised when I bought it. Grr.

Summary: Worked for one day and then died
Comment: I guess I was just the unlucky one, as others posted that it worked for them for 6 months so far with no problems, etc., but for me it stopped working after one day.
After one day, it the red light that indicates iPod's being charged doesn't go on anymore. That's pretty much all there's to it.. I guess I should've known better than to buy at this price. Lesson learned!
