Summary: New version going by old review?
Comment: I bought this product based largely on the previous comments. Evidently, they were sold a different, better item than what I got.
Mine is not 'premium' in any way. It isn't even real leather. It's *cheap* "pleather." After only two weeks, the clip is trying to tear away from the rest of the holster. I never ratcheted the clip, as they tend to loosen over time. Now, mine ratchets on its own. I often find that the holster is upside down. Were it not for the flap, there's no telling how many times it would have dumped the phone out by now. There are noticeable signs of wear and tearing all over the holster, and I haven't exposed it to rough treatment, either. I sit in a cubicle most days.
I liked the fact that there was a metal tip on the clip, which kept the front edge of the clip from splitting/shredding as they often do. But that's the only good thing I can find to say about this product.
There's a reason for its current price. It's not a bargain; it's flat-out cheap! Put a few bucks with the price they're asking for this one, and buy something --anything-- else.
I'm now shopping for a new holster.

Summary: Extraordinary case for an incredible price!
Comment: After my RAZR kept snagging the "sleeve" case on everything, I went in search of a better case. The first was a Kangaroo case at R. Shack for
$24 and the cheap clip broke in 3 days. Next was a pouch without a closure over the top. Twice on vacation the clip rotated and the phone fell out. Ever try to ring your phone in the woods and either hear or see it in the dark? Looked all over Amazon and settled on this because of the other reviews. It is well made. The closure strap keeps it there. Easy though to still access. The clip is built to last. So it was 25% of the cost of the Kangaroo and 70% of the cost of the "loser" pouch. Highly recommended!

Summary: case for my LG CU720 Shine
Comment: I recently bought a new LG CU720 Shine phone and wanted a case for it, but I didn't like any of the LG CU720 Shine-specific cases that I saw on various sites. I noticed the CU720 Shine is almost the same size/shape as my previous RAZR V3i, and I really liked the case I had with the magnetic clasp and rotating belt clip...it was just what I needed/wanted. And what do you know, it fit my CU720 Shine almost perfectly.
So, it would seem that many RAZR V3i cases should work for the LG CU720 Shine also.

Comment: I bought this looking for a case that would work to hold my phone and I have had bad luck in the past with cases usually they don't last more than a day before I break the clip off them. I have had this one for over two months now and it's still holding strong.

Comment: Not a bad phone pouch, but one of the reasons I bought it was for the ratcheting clip, which it does not have.
