Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: neat charger but i dont know... doesnt work anymore Comment: i've had this charger for about 6 months now. it is great design because it has a cool green sony light on the charging base and an auxillary LED on the charging end. very useful! however, it's broken now. i dont know what happened... maybe the fuse blew. i will have to look into it. i didnt abuse it, but it all of a sudden stopped working. Customer Rating: Summary: great design, weak plastic Comment: The LED map light and clean design were enough to get me to order two, but both broke within a few weeks. The plastic used for the connector is brittle, and the tabs that insert into the phone break off after a few dozen uses. Some have reported that this leaves pieces of plastic in the phone, which you have to fish out with a needle. Another cool-looking piece of failed tech headed for the trashcan. Customer Rating: Summary: poor build quality Comment: This charger is great when it works, the light is nice to have. Unfortunately, I've had 2 of these fail within 1 year. I'm going to try an off-brand charger to see if I have better luck. Customer Rating: Summary: Great charger, handy light Comment: This is a great charger - it charges fast and consistently. On the plug that goes into the phone there is a tiny "map light" that you can turn on and off and use in the car - neat! There is also a bright green light in the logo in the charger that plugs into the car outelet - the green light is really bright and kind of distracting at night, but I just put a tiny piece of black electrical tape over it. If you need a charger for the phones listed, I highly recommend this one. Customer Rating: Summary: Cheaply made Comment: I bought this charger a few months ago it worked fine for some time and i was pleased but then the cheap plastic on the plug broke so it would not stay connected to the phone. It would be one thing if i dropped it or something happened to it but the plastic part was cheap and broke just as i disconnected it from the phone as i did every day. I am convinced this is a result of the company making these chargers cheaply. Stay away from this product if you can. More Reviews
