Comment: This product works very well for protecting the hair against heat styling products like blow dryers, curling irons and hotrollers. If you are using a flat iron it would be better to use the STRAIGHT GAURD and Silk Infusion for total heat protection! Some products out there say they protect but only give a buffer for lower heat settings. The CHI line was specifically made for HIGH HEAT settings of the flat iron.

Comment: Great product, really protects your hair, and is actually easier to iron your hair with it on. Spray from far though so that it doesn't make your hair hard! I used to have to blow-dry my hair and then iron it but now I wash it put it in a braid until it dries and then I spray my hair with this and iron it, leaves my hair very soft! My hair was breaking and I was ironing it before without protecting it until my hair stylist told me I had to at least use a protector so i tried this spray and it has really made a difference!
