Comment: I have used this soap for years.
The soap arrived with the tab partially removed. The characteristic pungent peppermint odor was subdued. The color was rather insipid. This did not seem like the genuine article, or had been tampered with in some way.
I wrote to the supplier, who have failed to respond. I would purchase this soap from another vendor in the future.

Summary: cleans fairly well
Comment: This is the soap that is commonly called for in do-it-yourself cleaning products. So far I have used it as a body soap, hand soap and dish soap. Overall it cleans fairly well. However, as a body soap, you will really know it if you get it in your neither regions... very tingly. As a hand soap I have problems with dispensing the soap. I use a standard hand soap dispenser but the end of the dispenser is constantly getting clogged with gooey soap. The clogging is not enough to prevent dispensing the soap but it does cause it to spray wildly in all directions. I've even had it spray in my eyes once. As a dish soap it works very well.
The label has some bizarre little statements all over it. After reading these statements, I now understand why the inventor was once committed to a mental hospital..

Summary: Great For A Busy Lifestyle
Comment: I'm in a rock band, and we tour around the world. No time for a lot of showering,and there is next to no personal space for personal bath items. Being a woman fronting a male-rock band, I also don't like to carry around a lot of girly "products", it could ruin my "cred" with the guys. ;) Ha! So I LOVE Dr. Bronner's soap, purely for the convenience. I use it as a shampoo/bodywash/toothpaste/etc. So when I do get my...on average, weekly, speedy, shower.. I only have to take one thing with me!!! No packing up a bag full of crap just to get a quick clean off! It's also great for getting blood off of a white les paul custom guitar. So I greatly recommend Dr. Bronners All-One Soap for the Rock n Roll, Anti-girly girl, el-natural, sexy being. Oh yeah, if ya want a little excitement, get the peppermint...

Comment: I absolutely love Dr. Bronner's!!! I just started using his soap about a month ago and I'm extremely happy I switched!! I own a home/ office cleaning company and use ONLY Dr. Bronner's soap for practically everything, except glass/mirrors.
My family loves the Peppermint, Almond & Lavender scented soaps, they're tingly and make you feel cool and clean, and in my opinion, the peppermint scent is out of this world! We use these soaps for everything but brushing our teeth. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try it... ;0) I tried it as a shampoo on my long hair and it felt weird, I can't explain the feeling, but after shampooing I used Aubrey Organics Rose Mosqueta conditioner and my hair felt wonderful, & smelled wonderful too. If you do use Dr. Bronner's soap as a shampoo you'll definitely need a good conditioner, (in my opinion). It really is a wonderful product with way more than 18 uses, not to mention the gratification you get knowing your saving the planet!! I recommend it to anyone and everyone that is willing to listen! If Amazon allowed me to give more than 5 stars I definitely would!
