Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent design and construction Comment: I'm a computer geek and a mountaineer, and I can't find much to fault this pack for from either perspective. I particularly like the external marsupial pouch which has room for a hardcover book or three; it can also be used to stow the morning's jacket or sweater once the day warms up, without having to open the main bag.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best backpack ever in my life Comment: I love this bag. I'm a medical student and need to be in the library with my huge textbooks all day. this backpack has so much space for my laptop, notebooks and even my lunches and several fruits/snacks. I don't need to carry an extra bag. The price is also unbeatable.
Customer Rating: Summary: great product Comment: just the perfect size - expands to fit lots of books and a laptop, but not too big as to break my back
nifty compartments
good quality
Customer Rating: Summary: 15.4"? Don't count on it. Comment: My Thinkad t61 has a 15.4" screen with maybe an inch, total, of plastic beyond the glass. Yet with the laptop in the provided spot for it, you can't zip this bag closed. Because I'm to lazy to return it, I just don't use the special pouch where the laptop is supposed to go.
Customer Rating: Summary: Maxxum Backpack for 15" Laptop Comment: This is a great backpack, very well-built. We used it as carry-on for a trip to Hawaii. It has lots of room for everything. Had it filled to the max, and it was heavy; but once on, it was easy to pack, and it protected the laptop(15 1/4 inch widescreen) well. One reviewer complained about the long straps, but there are places to tuck and tie them out of the way.
